As a busy professional working in a fast paced corporate environment I was first drawn to yoga as a means to stay active and in shape. I found that over time yoga has also helped me to manage the stress and anxiety that can come with such a career.
Establishing a regular yoga practice combined with healthy eating and meditation not only helps me to stay in good physical shape, but it also helps me to have a clearer mind to focus on my career. A clearer mind helps me to perform at a higher level in all areas of my life. In my experience, the time that you devote to yourself on your mat truly does flow over to who you are off the mat as well. This means that you can be more of the person you want to be, for others and also for yourself.
I became a yoga teacher to share my learnings with others and to help them to see the benefits in their health and in their lives that a regular yoga practice can bring.
My dream is to share my practice with others so that we can all be the best we can be on and off the mat.
